At PCI  we don’t just talk about safety, we incorporate  safety into every aspect of what we do.

Our superintendents are required to have weekly jobsite safety meetings and daily safety meetings when a new definable feature of work is introduced.  They are also required to have a minimum 120 hours of safety training and complete 24 hours training annually while employed by PCI.

PCI ‘s Workforce has been trained and certified in the following safety courses:

  • 30 Hour OSHA for Construction
  • 40 Hour US Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1
  • 10 Hour Advanced SWPPP
  • Confined Space Competent Person
  • ARC Flash Safety Training
  • Hot Mix Asphalt Hazards and Safety Practices
  • CPR & First Aid
  • Fall Protection Competent Person
  • 16 Hour CQM Training
  • Scaffolding  Protection Competent Person
  • Daily and Weekly Toolbox Safety Meetings
  • Concrete Safety  and Hazards
  • Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Safety
  • Airfield Operator License “Airfield Safety”

Safety awareness and implementation is  the cornerstone of the success of PCI’s projects.

Our Safety Program is dynamic and constantly adapted to each unique project. We are committed to stay on the forefront of safety in the construction industry. This is attained by staying in constant communication with our workers, subcontractors, clients and safety experts in the industry.
